"The Philippines is the most forgotten Asian country in Europe. Their
young art is the language for us to understand them better – as an
Asian country closest to European culture. We have to answer this
request for a dialogue to help them find their way of democracy. In
the Philippines, art can still change society and Minerva Mondejar
Steiner represents the questions of her generation through language of their
art here in Zürich. By supporting these artists, we are helping them
to change old-fashioned beliefs without making them deny their roots."
- Michael Steiner, Movie-Director of "Mein name ist Eugen" and
"Grounding"

"It is a true blessing to know Minerva Mondejar Steiner and to learn through
her passion, her deep knowledge and background more about the dynamic
young Philippine art movement. The extraordinary discovery of this new
art movement is even more precious, as it is highly original and has
not been touched yet by over-hyped international art market. These
young Philippine artists stay definitely true to themselves, and
impress us with their wild attitude and freshness almost in a similar
way as the Germans did in the seventies with their famous,
groundbreaking new movement of the 'Young Wild Ones.' It would be very
fascinating to follow this new art movement. Even more so, as it comes
from a country that we know more as an idyllic holiday resort than as
a place, which brings us exciting new art depicting all the burning
items of its wonderful people."
- This Brunner, Director of the Arthouse Commercio Movie AG
