Jörg Domeisen's "EWIG MEIN - EWIG DEIN - EWIG UNS" Explores the Timeless Mystique of Gold Through Art

Zurich, Switzerland – From June 27 to July 27, 2013, the Mondejar Gallery in Zurich will host "EWIG MEIN - EWIG DEIN - EWIG UNS," a captivating exhibition by Swiss artist Jörg Domeisen. The event opens on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 6:00 PM, with the artist in attendance.

Through sculptures, Domeisen explores the complex and enduring symbolism of gold—an element that has fascinated humanity for centuries. As Michael Steiner eloquently states, “Gold, the radiant adrenalin, a sun among the stones, embodies human aspirations.” Domeisen's works challenge viewers to reflect on the cyclical journey of gold, from its role as a symbol of love and commitment to its transformation into objects of artistic and historical significance.

A highlight of the exhibition is a series of gold sculptures crafted from 1,800 wedding bands sourced from divorces, underscoring themes of permanence and transformation. This body of work embodies the intricate narrative of human connection and material legacy.
