Mondejar Gallery Shines at Sotheby’s ‘Sacred Land’: Art, Advocacy, and Auction

27 November 2024, London, UK – Mondejar Gallery, founded and led by Minerva Mondejar Steiner, played a pivotal role in the success of Sacred Land/Yvy Katu, a fundraising exhibition for Amazon conservation. A collaboration with Sotheby’s, Saatchi Gallery, and Planethon365, the gallery facilitated and supported numerous artists whose works captivated global audiences. The auction, led by Lord Harry Dalmeny, Chairman of Sotheby’s UK, celebrated art that bridges creativity and advocacy.

A Collaborative Effort for Conservation
Proceeds from Sacred Land will benefit Amazon-focused NGOs, including AmazoniAlerta, SOS Amazônia, and Mothers of the Amazon, reinforcing the exhibition’s mission to promote environmental preservation and empower indigenous communities.
