Mondejar Gallery Supports St. Moritz Art Film Festival 2024
20 Sep 2024 St. Moritz, Switzerland – Minerva Mondejar Steiner, founder of Mondejar Gallery and a dedicated advocate for the arts, lent her support to the 2024 edition of the St. Moritz Art Film Festival (SMAFF), a prestigious event spotlighting young and experimental art films. Held from 12–15 September, the festival embraced the theme
“Meanwhile Histories,”showcasing a compelling selection of 40 screenings that reimagined narratives of time and history.
The festival attracted a global audience, with prominent artists including Flavio Paolucci, Michel Auder, Naeem Mohaiemen, and the duo Gerard & Kelly in attendance. Awards were presented by an esteemed international jury featuring Chomwan Weeraworawit, Luciano Rigolini, and Natalia Sielewicz. Highlights included
Best Feature Film, awarded to Preemptive Listening by Aura Satz, and
Best Short & Experimental Film, won by Parsi by Eduardo Williams.
Under the visionary leadership of Artistic Director Stefano Rabolli Pansera and Managing Director Diana Segantini, SMAFF has cemented its place as a cultural and intellectual hub in the Engadin Valley, fostering dialogue between art, film, and philosophy.
