Using the aesthetics of contemporary fashion photography, the artist promises exactly what the consumer never gets to see: an ultimate kick into the heart of the glamour world.

Here reduction is used to focus the spectators on the lecherous. References to magazines such as Vogue or to Internet-chatrooms are desired and used with precision. Ignoring all taboos BÖKHAUS-GRUNZ & 2PUBLIC press the buttons of the modern marketing industry to reveal one's deepest desire and, contrary to what the consumer-friendly advertiser serves up, they uncover the actual abyss. It is a greedy world, which has been systematized. BÖ‹HAUS-GRUNZ & 2PUBLIC are globalised high-gloss without the makeup.
