Mondejar Gallery Premieres This Brunner’s MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION

27 July 2012, Zurich, Switzerland – Starting this Friday, 27 July, Mondejar Gallery will host an exclusive summer gathering to unveil the extraordinary artwork MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION by acclaimed artist This Brunner. From 6 to 9 PM, visitors will experience the gallery premiere of this groundbreaking film and art installation, which will remain on display until 25 August 2012.

Described as a “showstopper” by gallery founder Minerva Mondejar Steiner, MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION delves into the intricate relationship between movies and literature, offering a virtuosic exploration of cinematic artistry. The installation combines poetic imagery, soundscapes, and text to create an immersive experience that blurs the boundaries between space and time.

According to Sam Keller, Director of the Beyeler Museum Basel, the piece is “a brilliant choreography full of surprises, beauty, and rapture,” praised for its ability to engage viewers intellectually, emotionally, and artistically.
